Holistic Hudson Valley (Holistic-HV) is a meet-up group that brings together holistic enthusiasts -- whether they are practitioners, activists, fans or just curious by-standers. As a group we create a safe space for people to get to know each other, to network together, learn and share their experiences. Our members are interested in art, music, health and the environment.
Our meetings are (usually) on the last Wednesday of the month.
On this site you'll find a member listing, a business member directory, and an events calendar. You can choose to attend events at our non-member rate ($10/meeting) without limits, and if you eventually want to become a member (starting at $50/year) and save time & money at the door, you can do that as well.
Our meetings will now be hosted by The Healing Farm in New Hampton, NY unless otherwise specified. The Healing Farm is an herb farm, event venue, petting zoo, teaching space, and more — brand new, still pouring concrete and planting and so on. It's a holistic retreat for healers, a place to learn, shop, relax, and reconnect with the earth and the healing energies all around us.
Healing Farm is at 14 Smith Hill Lane, New Hampton, NY 10958 on the GPS — but don't turn right up the steep driveway to the houses — the farm, barn, parking & activites are across CR12 to the left.
To get there from most points, take 17M/6 between Middletown & Goshen, turn and follow the sign for Soons Orchard onto CR12 but keep going on CR12 past Soons Orchard (the apple orchard will be on the left). The working portion of the Healing Farm is going to be on your left — the entrance is just past the chicken coops and barn downhill and to the left. If you reach the intersection with the white deli, you've gone too far.
We will be meeting either in the barn — concrete willing — outside weather permitting — or in the greenhouse. We are thinking about some fun snacks (there's talk of farm-fresh eggs for dinner!) and look forward to your RSVP. Meeting fee will be $10/person. Kids too young to partake in discussion are free.
This is the first local public event at The Healing Farm -- let's show them some Hudson Valley Hospitality! :)
If you're coming in a wheelchair or bringing a stroller, keep in mind that this is not a paved driveway and there are hills and rough terrain. If there are rains, it will be muddy in places. Appropriate clothing or footwear is recommended.
$10 for non-members at the door. Kids too young to partake in discussion are free.
